Dr. Anisha Karnik

Meet Dr. Anisha Karnik

Dr. Anisha Karnik grew up in Seattle, Washington before she pursued her undergraduate and dental degree in the combined six year program at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in Stockton and San Francisco, CA. After graduating, she worked in hospital dentistry for two years, respectively, at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Los Angeles. She went back to Seattle where she enjoyed working in private practice as well as providing dental care for residents of local nursing homes and assisted living. In 2014, she moved to Los Angeles where she has been helping people restore their smiles and confidence with a gentle hand.

On her passion for practicing dentistry:
"Since the age of twelve, it had been a dream of mine to become a dentist- but it wasn't until my six year journey of braces and jaw surgery that I really felt the connection with the dental team that took care of me.  Being so young while going through a one year healing process of swelling and pain, it was always comforting for me when my dentists showed concern and compassion for my feelings. It was this experience that made me want to be someone that could show the same care and concern for people who come to the dentist feeling nervous and uncomfortable. My goal is to help people feel good about their smiles and improve their overall health by continuous care of their dental health."
